For Scientific Assistant (Physical) Post: Must have Passed an M.Sc With Physics/ Forensic Science from any university of India established.
For Scientific Assistant (Chemical) Post: Must have Passed M.Sc With Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/ Forensic Science from any university of India established.
For Scientific Assistant (Biology/ Serology) Post: Must have Passed M.Sc With Biology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science from any university of India established.

Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the Preliminary Common written examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by Main Written Examination conducted by the competent authority.
Salary Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in Regular Pay Scale as follows –
» Sub Inspector of Police: Rs. 28,940 – 78,910/-
» Deputy Jailor Assistant Matron & : Rs. 26,600 – 77,030/-
Apart from this the candidates will entitle to get DA, HRA & Other Allowances applicable as per Government rules.
