As per Calcutta University norms, for admission to B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com (both Hons & Gen. Courses) it is mandatory to pass HS/ISC/CBSE or any equivalent exam of approved Boards. Also must have an English paper of 100 marks. For admission to any Hons course an applicant must secure (i) 50% in each best four subjects together with minimum 45% in the subject sought for Hons OR (ii) a minimum of 55% in the subject sought for Hons. (Note that 5% relaxation is allowed to SC/ST applicants in every case). For Hons in Economics, passing in Mathematics is necessary. Those who have passed with a minimum 50% in Mathematics in the Science group, they may apply for Hons in Accountancy.

For admission to Bio-Science (Gen only offered) passing apart Biology/ Bio Science, passing in Chemistry is also necessary.

For online submission of application form, an applicant, going through the stated norms can apply to any Hons course with allowed combination papers OR to any Gen course from the drop-down menu on the page.

After preparation of the merit list for each course in view of respective “Intake capacities” the listed applicants will have to exhibit the testimonials in original in the college office as scheduled in the NOTICE. Only the checked & verified applicants will be allowed to pay admission fees online / offline.
