Eligible Criteria for Burdwan University Recruitment
Educational Qualification, Experience, Age limit and Salary:
1) Registrar: Candidates should possess Masters Degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent qualification. With minimum 15 years of experience as Reader / Assistant Professor / Sr. Lecturer in the AGP of Rs.7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration in Academic Institutions like University / in an institute of higher learning of which 5 years must be in an Institute or a University of Post Graduate Study. Or comparable experience in research establishments and other institutions of higher learning. Or 15 years administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar / equivalent post. A Doctorate Degree or published research work of merit is desirable. Candidates age should be not less then 40 years.
Salary: Pay Band Rs.37400-67000/- plus Grade pay of Rs.10000/- per month.
2) Assistant Engineer (Civil): Candidates should possess Bachelors Degree in Engineering with atleast 55% marks or equivalent. With minimum 5 years of experience in a position involving supervision, control and planning of construction work under Government / Quasi Government organization / in University and such other institution. The recruitment of Bachelors Degree may be waived in the case of A.M.I.E with minimum 15 years experience as Sub Assistant Engineer in a Government / Quasi Government / Institute / University of Higher Learning. Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering is desirable. Candidates age should be not below 30 years.
Salary: Pay Band Rs.15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- per month.
