Qualification : Candidate must posses Matriculation (10 th) certificate from Government recognized Board or Institution.
Salary : Rs.5200 – Rs.20200/- with grade pay of Rs.1900/- plus other allowances Admissible as per Government rules.

All the candidates should have to fulfill the following Eligibility criteria to apply for the post of Construction Helper Recruitment in Poducherry Electricity Department :
Residential Status : Candidates must be a resident of the Union Territory of Poducherry by Birth or by Registration. In case of the candidate those are resident of Podocherry by way of Registration are should be continuously stay in UT of Poduchrry at-least for a period of 5 years.
Age Limit & Relaxation : Candidates age must not be less than 18 years & not more than 32 years as on 06 July 2015. SC, ST & Minority Community will get age relaxation as per Govt. rules & regulation.
Educational Qualification : Candidate must passed Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent from Government recognized Board or Institution.
Technical Qualification : 2 years craftsmanship cetificate in the trade of Electrician / Wireman approved by the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Selection Procedure : Selection will be made on the following valuable points –
(a) Percentage of the marks obtained in the ITI (Electrician / Wireman)
(b) Percentage of the marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination
(c) Apprenticeship Training sponsored by the Labour Department under Apprentices Act. 1961
(d) Seniority Based on ITI Registration Certificate number.
