Educational Qualification – Central Power Research Institute Recruitment 2020:
The applicant should have completed BE/B.Tech with First Class in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Metallurgy / Civil /Chemical Engineering / Computer Science with an aggregate minimum of 65% or 6.84/10 CGPA. Candidates applying with qualification of AMIE should have 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone (Qualifying of AMIE candidates will be regulated as per MHRD Order No. 11-15-2011-AR(TS.II) dated 6.12.2012. Candidates enrolled for AMIE up to 31.5.2013 and completed the course are only eligible). The candidates applying for the post essentially shall possess a valid GATE score for the year 2019/2020.

Selection Process:
The selection of the Candidates will be based on performance in the Common Written Examination (OMR Based) followed by Skill Test and Personal Interview conducted by the Competent Authority.
Salary Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in the Regular Pay Scale as follows –
» Engineering Officer Gr.2 & Accounts Officer: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-
» Technician, Assistant & MTS: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/-
» Other Posts: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-
Apart from this, the candidates will entitle to get DA, HRA & Other Allowances applicable as per Government rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 500/-, other than MTS Posts. Application Fee can be paid through Net-banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card during the submission of the Online Application Form. SC/ ST/ PwD/ Women candidates and CPRI Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
