CTET-February 2015: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi has published the Notification for Recruitment of Teacher Posts for classes I to VIII, the eligible candidates can apply before 08th January 2015. Important Dates:

Online application will start from: 18/12/2014
Last date for online application: 08/01/2015
Last date for submission of fees: 10/01/2015
Date of Examination: 22/02/2015 (Sunday)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates have to possess Senior Secondary degree/ Graduation degree minimum 50% marks and Bachelor/Diploma in Elementary Education for . For details qualification see the CTET website.

Examination Fee:

Examination Fee for General/OBC
Only Paper-I or II: Rs.600/-
Both Paper-I & II: Rs.1000/-

Examination fee for SC/ST/Diff.Abled Person
Only Paper-I or II: Rs.300/-
Both Paper-I & II: Rs.500/-

Examination fee can be paid through Computer generated Challan by depositing the prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

OR pay through Debit/Credit Card.

How to apply:

Candidates are required to apply online through CTET’s website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate also required all the details while filling the Online Form and upload their scanned images of photograph & signature. After successful submission of data, Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page for record and keep it for their reference. The Confirmation Page is not required to be sent to CTET Unit.

Application Procedure:

STEP 1:Fill in the Online Application Form

STEP 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.

Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height) only.
Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) × 1.5 cm (height) only.

STEP 3: Pay examination Fee by challan or debit/credit card

STEP 4: Print Confirmation page for your record and future reference, if required
