Eligible Criteria for GESCOM Recruitment 2015 – 71 Engineer & Officer
Educational Qualification:-
1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical):- Candidates should be possess B.E. of a recognized University or AMIE (India) qualification in
a) Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
b) Computer Science/ Information Science/ Information Technology Engineering.
c) Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics communication Engineering.
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil):- Candidates may possess a M.Com Graduate of a recognized University or pass in ICWA/ MBA (Finance).
3. Assistant Accounts Officer:- Should be a M.Com Graduate of a recognized University or pass in ICWA/MBA (Finance).
4. Junior Engineer (Electrical):- Candidates should have passed Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka or Equivalent Qualification.
Age Limit:- The Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of application and shall not be more than;
a) 35 years in case of General Merit candidates.
b) 38 years in case of category IIA, IIB, IIA & IIB candidates.
c) 40 years in case of SC/ST and category I candidates.
Application Fee:- The application fees prescribed for applying to the posts is as follows:-
a) Rs.2000/- in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category, I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
b) Rs.1000/- in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
Selection Process:-
Recruitment to those posts shall be made purely on the basis of the marks secured in the aptitude test, duly following Roster Reservation Policy of Government of Karnataka.

1. Eligible and interested candidates may apply online through GESCOM official website on or before 15.05.2015. Applications will not be accepted by any other mode.
2. The candidates should fill up the E-Mail ID and mobile number in the application since, future correspondence with then, will be over e-mail.
3. The website will be kept open for submitting ‘Online’ applications from 16.04.2015. The last date for submission of application 15.05.2015 up to 17:00 hours (5.00PM).
4. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances.
“After applying Online, the candidates should print” post office payment challan generated online & pay the requisite application fee along with applicable charges in any computerized Post Office in karnataka.
