Eligibility Criteria for Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) Recruitment 2020 –
Educational Qualification –
Professor – A First Class Master’s degree in Physics with at least 15 years of research experience in geomagnetism and allied fields. Preference will be given to those who have a Doctorate degree.
Reader – A First Class Master’s degree in Physics.
Fellow – First Class Master’s degree in Physics/Geophysics.
Fellow – First Class Master’s degree in Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied and Pure)/ Computer Science.
Senior Technical Assistant – First or high second class M.Sc. in Physics/Pure Maths/Applied Maths.
Senior Hindi Translator – aster’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
Driver – Matric/SSC + 2 years driving experience. Candidate should have valid driving License to drive Light/Medium Vehicle (Transporting of Passengers).

Application Fees:
Application fee Rs.300/- should be paid for each post separately by crossed demand draft in favour of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, New Panvel. However, no application fee for SC/ST, PWD & Women candidates. The application fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to apply for Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) Recruitment 2020 –
The candidates may apply on the form downloadable from the website www.iigm.res.in together with the requisite application fee of Rs. 300/- by crossed demand draft. The prescribed application form can also be obtained from the office of the Admin. Coordinator, IIG, by paying an application fee of Rs. 300/- by crossed demand draft in favour of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, New Panvel, in person between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on working days (Monday to Friday). However, no application fee for SC/ST, PWD, women candidates, and the candidates applying for the post of Senior Hindi Translator (Post No.9) on deputation. Filled in applications should reach the office of the Admin. Coordinator, IIG, on or before 15.01.2021. Any application received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
