Name of Post: Engineer/Officer
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate Engineer
Age limit: Maximum age 26 years/ 28 years.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates have to possess degree examination and awarded bachelors degree in engineering/technology from
recognized Indian University/Institute for above mentioned disciplines with full time regular course.
For the candidates of General and OBC (non-creamy layer) should have minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree
examination. (Qualifying marks 55% in case for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Age limit:
In case for Engineering Discipline
Maximum age 26 years as on 30/06/2015 for General Category.
Age relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-creamy Layer) as per rules.
In case for Geology & Geophysics discipline
Maximum age 28 years as on 30/06/2015 for General Category.
Age relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-creamy Layer) as per rules.
Remuneration:
The candidates who will be selected for Engineers/Oficers posts will get starting basic Pay of Rs.24,900/- per
month. Candidates will get the DA and Others allowances.
Physical Fitness:
Candidates are required medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-employment medical standard. Candidates are
advised to gothrough the ‘Guidelines and Criteria for Physical Fitness for Pre-employment medical Examination’
before they commence the application process.
Service Bond
General category candidates will have to execute a bond of Rs.3,00,000 (Rs.50000/- for SC/ST/OBC & PWD
candidates) to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of three years from the date of joining

1) On-line registration for GATE-2015 examination.
2) Online application in Indian Oil with GATE-2015 registration number after down loading GATE-2015 admit
card.
