Eligibility Criteria For Department of School Education, Punjab Recruitment 2021 –
Educational Qualification:
Master cadre (Maths) – Should have passed Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 44%o marks in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physical Handicapped Candidates from a recognized university or institution and should have passed Mathematics as a subject at least for three years of Graduation; and Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Mathematics as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.
Master cadre (Border area English) – Should have passed Graduation with minimum 45o per cent marks in the case of the persons from the General category; and minimum 40% marks in the case of the persons fiom the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physically Handicapped category, from a recognized university or institution and should have studied English as an elective subject for a period of three years.
Master cadre Science Non-Medical –
B.Sc.with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of SC/ST/OBC/BC/PWD from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects i.e. Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or should have passed B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics or any other equivalent qualification, but a certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission; and. B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission
Master cadre Science Medical –
B.Sc with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of SC/ST/OBC/BC/PWD from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects i.e. Biology, Physics and Chemistry or B.Sc. Honours) in either of these subjects or B.Sc (life science) or B.Sc (Physical Science) or B.Sc (Biotechnology) or B.Sc (Honours) or B.Sc (Industrial Microbiology) or B Sc (Microbiology) or B.Sc (Bio-physics) or B.Sc (Bio-chemistry) or B.Sc (Microbial, Food Technology, Chemistry) or B.Sc. industrial Chemistry or B.Sc. Food Science and Quality Control or B.Sc. Microbial food Technology any other equivalent qualification, but the certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the Univesity Grants Commission; and. B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission
Master cadre English – Should have passed Graduation with minimum 45yo percent marks in the case of the persons from the General category and Should have studied Functional English, English Literature, B.A. Honours (English), B.A. (Honours) English in Graduation; or its equivalent; or Should have passed post Graduation in English. Should have passed B.Ed. from a recognized university.

Selected candidates will be placed in Regular Pay Scale of Rs. 10,300 – 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- besides DA, HRA & Other allowances applicable as per Government rules.Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for General/OBC candidates, Rs.250/- for SC/ ST candidates through Bank Challan. PH candidates are exempted from application fee.Selection Process:
