Eligible Criteria for VTU Recruitment 2014
Age limit : Candidates age limit should be between 18 years to 35 years. Upper age limit for SC/ST/Category -I is 40 years & Other Backward Classes is 38 years.
Educational Qualification : For Lab Assistant post candidates must be holder of First class diploma in the respective branch of Engineering / Technology granted by an institution recognized by the Government or Equivalent qualification to Diploma granted by the Board of Technical Examinations. For Helper post candidates must have passed SSLC and must have put in a service of not less than one year in the respective branch of Engineering/ Technology and For Attenders post candidates must have passed 7th (VII) Standard.
Application Fee : General & OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs.600/- and SC/ST/Cat-I pay Rs.300/- as application fee through Demand Draft, obtained from any Nationalized Bank in favour of Finance Officer, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
Selection Process : Short listing of candidates for interview shall be carried out based on the performance in the Written Test & Interview.
